Yes Cornelius kinda tried to calm down his probably drunken, crazed uncle St Maarten Parliamentarian Petrus Leroy de Weever. But it's not Leroy's 1st assault and battery incident, and it probably won't be his last, should he continue to drink. So Health Minister Cornelius de Weever now has to admit to the police the man who gave him his job walked up unprovoked, struck a woman and stole her equipment totaling $200 dollars. The surveillance cameras were set up On Mainstreet to catch the muggers, criminals and thieves, never in their wildest dreams did the police expect the criminal perpetrator to be Veteran Politician, Democratic Party Parliamentarian, right at the beginning of elections 2014. So some people got waaaay more pleasure out of Leroy's drunken antics than others. Some celebrated that someone had finally pressed charges against veteran assaulter and batterer Petrus Leroy de Weever. Has there been one person in St Maarten who hasn't been struck by a drunken Leroy de Weever? Evidently he drunkenly tried to strangle Peter Gunn. Leroy de Weever shows a pattern: getting drunk and hitting someone,
no more denials, too many witnesses.
