FRANS RICHARDSON UNITED ST MAARTEN PARTY LAUNCH DECEMBER 22 2013!!! To no one's surprise, and the critics and detractors were waiting. I attended Sunday's event, but the attacks against Mr Richardson had already started online, so I got my popcorn, because I knew it would be interesting. There's a lot of enemy political sharks circling Richardson right now, because...well...he's made a lot of enemies. Now understand if you were JESUS in the St Maarten government you'd have a lot of enemies, but Richardson has really pissed many people off. This doesn't mean that they wouldn't try to form a coalition with him in 2014, but right now the swords have already been drawn.

Richardson made many enemies as William Marlin's number 2 on the National Alliance slate for many years. Ofcourse, as always in these situations, the egos begin to emerge. Richardson started negotiating behnd the scenes with other political parties, and other potential political parties, but there are no true friends in government, so the word quickly got out. Marlin it seemed felt the heat of Richardson's popularity, but as the leader was not about to cede power to anyone, especially his number two. Marlin acted like Richardson was getting to big for his britches. Richardson showed obvious discontent with his leader, and although Marlin and Richardson's National Alliance Party got the most votes, Richardson defected, became an Independent, joined with Patrick Illidge and Romain Laville. This act devastated the National Alliance, and put them as the opposition, although they had garnered the most votes. The Illidge, Richardson, Laville alliance became so tight, that people began to refer to them as The Three Amigos (The Three Pals), When I told Romain that the Three Amigos would soon become "The Three Enemigos" ( The three enemies) he laughed at me on camera.

They even had nicknames for each other. This sooooooo infuriated many, that many felt that the "Monster" calling itself the Three Amigos, and who were also planning to set up their OWN party in 2014, had to be burnt before it could grow and start to reproduce. Theo Heyliger uncle was the one to make the approach about a video with Patrick Illidge taking money. I was only interested in an un-altered video, so he couldn't work with me. But then Patrick Illidge turned COLD on the National Alliance. And although ALL evidence pointed to Theo Heyliger and co. as the ones who released the video, Patrick Illidge always appeared to believe that it was the National Alliance. Then on St Maarten's day, I was approached by a United People's Party advisor who said. "The National Alliance released that tape, because they felt that the "New Party" could only hurt the Alliance and cost them votes. Evidently, and Kendall Dupersoy DID tell me the same thing in government, the National Alliance felt that they and the Independents attracted the same demographic, and that the Alliance would be hurt, not the DP or the UP.

The government fell again. At this point, I witnessed Richardson and Laville go at it in Parliament. I tried to record the video, but Robbie the security did his best to block me, so I only got audio. Then The Three Amigos became The Three Enemigos. Patrick and Romain seemed to align, and Richardson was on his own. Some said that because Illidge was under an investigation for the Bada Bing Scandal, and Romain Laville were involved in his own legal battles, including a battle over a gun pulling incident with Jules James, and another suit, where Romain Laville was suing Theo Heyliger.

It's been know for months now that Richardson was going to start his own Party, and for months online, even before he uttered a word, the attacks began.

Who are these detractors?

The Nationala Alliance, who felt that he'd screwed them over.

The other "Amigos" who he dropped at a dime when there was a hint of scandal.

The United People's Party are seeing the potential for Richardson to take their 'younger demographics' vote. The DP with Sarah Wescot Williams, well her top boys Leroy and Roy are not going to be running in 2014. Advising-yes,running-no.

Sarah will have to align, some say Theo and her have made arrangements to put her in the #2 spot, some say that THAT will never happen. I love to read, and I love to write so I'll stay tuned to the developments when it comes to this latest party, and I'll blog my opinions about it.
